Dignity is non-negotiable.

Spain is known as both a destination and a transit route for victims of human trafficking. Many are drawn by false promises of employment and end up subjected to sexual exploitation in clubs and night venues.
Despite this challenging reality, the country also stands out for its strong governmental and civil society initiatives that consistently combat this crime, achieving significant progress over the years.

In both Málaga and Seville, the Task Force focuses on supporting women at different stages of vulnerability — from potential victims to survivors. The work takes place through direct contact with people being exploited in these environments, offering a safe space to be heard, guidance, and comprehensive support. The goal is to help them find ways out of exploitation and begin rebuilding their lives, including ensuring protection for their families in their home countries.

At the same time, Frágil runs short-term volunteer programs in Spain aimed at building direct, relational connections with people facing exploitation. These volunteer initiatives have an intervention-based approach, providing initial support and helping to create safe pathways for those seeking to leave that situation.
